What is disc golf?
Like regular golf, it shares a lot of similar rules, but instead of using clubs to get a ball into a hole, a plastic disc is used and thrown into a metal basket.
What does a disc golf disc look like?
Disc golf discs typically measure between 8-9 inches and weight between 130-180 grams. Besides its circular shape, a disc golf disc is different than a typical frisbee. The edges of the disc is very different. See the image below to see the different type of disc edges. Also, the material of the disc is mostly composed of polyurethane plastic, but disc manufacturers have been introducing new materials into the market.
